Fanart: IT'S NOT EGOIST.

It's almost a big shocker for me to draw fanart that's NOT Egoist. xD But I can't be that biased (oh wait yes I can).

Remember when I flailed about the Watchmen trailer they showed before TDK and how the use of the slower version of The Smashing Pumpkins' "The End Is The Beginning Is The End" was pretty much perfect, both because of the Batman & Robin connections and because it just really well with the brooding trailer? Well apparently, Billy Corgan did release the slower version on the single! He cleverly titled "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning." I'm sure you want it. I'm not much of a fan of the original, but I pretty much love this mellow version.

While browsing the Internets I came across this interesting site that I think has a review of the upcoming movie. It's in Japanese, so I have no idea what it says. Normally I'm not interested in any of the films, but this particular one has piqued my interest because of what this "review" says at the very end: ( spoilers? )

I am rather dubious of this happening (c'mon, even Naruto can't be that gay...OR CAN IT), so I'm wondering if anyone who knows Japanese can enlighten us?

Amv Maker Notes: This is in Nowaki's POV. I tried my best to make this amv look good, but I only understand Hiroki a lot clearer than Nowaki. ^_^;;; ~~Gomene, I only understand ukes, not semes~~ So, this was very hard to make. I chose this song because it really identifies Nowaki's heart to Hiroki, especially when the song says, "I'm chasing after you...". Oh, and I LOOOOOOVE THIS PAIRING SOOO MUCH!!! Nowaki is such a fluffy cutie pie with extra whipped cream on top! ^_____^ Also, I honorably dedicate this amv to my "husband/lover/seme",

The CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff: Network may launch 2009-10 schedule in July or August to 'get out of the fray.'

Beverly Hills -- The CW is looking at launching its 2009-10 schedule in the summer, according to network entertainment president Dawn Ostroff.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour here Saturday, Ostroff said the network is considering rolling out its schedule next July or August, despite the traditionally low viewership for broadcast television at that time of the year.

“The idea is to get out of the fray,” she added.

With The CW looking at alternative scheduling options to help bolster its fortunes, Ostroff said she is not afraid to end the network’s season as much as one month earlier than other networks.

Drama CD related question

Do you guys think they'll continue to make the Junjou drama CDs even though the anime has begun? ♥ I was just wondering because I was listening to the Terrorist ones the other night, and I almost died of a fangirl heart attack when I realized they included everything (and by everything I mean everything) from the manga. ^_^ I can understand why they wouldn't bother doing the drama CDs anymore since the seiyuus are busy with the anime, but I just thought it would be cool if they continued them since the anime doesn't include everything from the manga.

Discussion: Konoha Technology

Ok so,

Who knows if this has ever been brought up - but I'm curious as to what you guys think about Konoha Technology.

Clearly they have electricity, as well as candles and the like.

I know that in one episode (and I'm obviously dating myself now) that there was a playback tape (either that or I was dillusional).

Thus - giving us the knowledge that had either BETA or VHS (It looked more like VHS though, but the size of the console made me think BETA), and with every video device there's a TV.

But - what about computers?

What about music?

I'm more concerned with the idea of music though simply because at the moment my muse enjoys music.

I'm just wondering if it would back as far as 8 Track or would they be at least to the cassette era. I personally don't think they'd be up to the era of CD players but that's open for discussion.

Thoughts? Ideas?

I'm curious. Indulge me. (:
